Centennial College is an independent College established by The University of Hong Kong registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap. 320). The College offers full-time self-financed 4-year Bachelor degree programmes.

 

The School of Management of the College is committed to integrating liberal education philosophy with management studies. The broad-based training in the humanities, social sciences and general education forms a valuable foundation for the analysis of real-life managerial issues. This interdisciplinary approach stresses on the use of a broader perspective in examining the social impact of managerial decisions in an organisation.

 

The School is now inviting applications for full-time appointment for the following position:

Executive Assistant II [RF: 2016/17-FT-023-CMT]

Duties

The appointee will provide administrative and secretarial support to the School of Management, such as managing database, handling general enquiries, providing logistics support of marketing activities, short courses, seminars, conferences and symposiums. He/She will liaise and work closely with vendors, service providers, case writers and other parties on joint projects. He/She will perform other duties as assigned by College and supervisor.

 

Requirements

Level 2 or above in five subjects (including English and Chinese Languages) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination or Grade E or above in five subjects (including English and Chinese Languages) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree will be an advantage. Candidates should have good written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing is expected. 1-2 years working experience is preferred but not necessary. Prior working experience in marketing / sales / public relations / event management is preferred. He/She should be outgoing, highly self-motivated and be able to work independently. He/She should have strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and be detail-minded. 

 

Terms of Appointment

Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of contract. Medical and dental benefits, annual leave, and the use of sports and library facilities will be provided where applicable.
