Dr Cheng Kam Yuen 鄭錦源博士(副教授)

Associate Professor

Dr Cheng received his PhD in Philosophy from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Prior to joining Centennial College, he taught at HKU SPACE Community College for twelve years. The subjects he taught include: Elements of Logic and Critical Thinking, Cognitive Science, Study of Mind, Ethics and Society, and Applied Ethics. He has published several journal articles in bioethics and philosophy of mind. In one of his ongoing research projects, he is investigating whether the moral permissibility of an action depends on the intention behind the action and whether this dependence or independence is culturally bound.
