Out-of-class Learning Experience
Helping you reach your full potential
Education is about far more than professional qualifications. It’s also about becoming a well-rounded, versatile and open-minded individual able to communicate well with others and develop a full and meaningful life beyond work and the classroom.
These are the qualities more and more companies are seeking in their graduate hires and we are committed to providing you with the broadest possible range of activities to help you reach your full potential in every aspect of life.
Learning from experience
The College also places emphasis on interactive teaching and out-of-class learning experiences.
Among the many opportunities we offer are: English language events like our English Corner and Toastmaster activities; field trips in Hong Kong, China and around the globe; study tours, service learning, internships, as well as our Academic and Professional Development Seminar Series.
Through experiences such as these, you will build enhanced communication skills, achieve greater insights into business and develop a fuller understanding of the world around you.
Research Experience Scheme for Students
At Centennial College, you are highly encouraged to actively participate in research. Our Case Research Centre in School of Management provides a platform for you to do so. By joining the Research Experience Scheme, you will have an opportunity to work with professors to conduct business case research.
You could join the interviews of business executives, review literatures, and write up business cases, thus allowing you to apply knowledge acquired in class, to enhance your research capacity, and to improve your analysis and problem solving skills. For details, please click here.
