Centennial College Information Day

Did you know that liberal arts graduates are amongst the most employable? Would you be interested in finding out about the programmes and scholarships offered by Centennial College, the independent Liberal Arts College established by The University of Hong Kong?

Why not come and join us at the Centennial College Information Day on 18 February, and experience at first hand a taste of liberal arts education as well as meet with professors and students of the College. “Are liberal arts graduates employable?”

 

Speaker: Professor Edward Chen, Council Chairman of Centennial College

Professor Chen will share with you the benefits of liberal arts education in the new, service-based economy. He will outline why liberal arts education is the best undergraduate education you can have and the reasons its graduates are so readily employable.

 

“5-Star Chinese Writing”

Speaker: Ben Sir

Centennial College is proud to present Ben Sir - master of Cantonese and creativity - to discuss the best preparation tips for DSE Chinese writing.

Tour to HKU Chi Wah Learning Commons and Main Library

Our students are privileged in being able to experience academic life and access various facilities at HKU - one of the Top Ten Universities in Asia:  they can take courses in the Faculties of Arts, Education and Science; use the world-class facilities of the Chi Wah Learning Commons, the many libraries and the fully-equipped, state-of-the-art sports centres.

On Information Day, the College will lay on a special tour to the Chi Wah Learning Commons and the Main Library so that students and their families can get a clear idea of the extensive facilities Centennial College students have access to. The 65,000 square foot Chi Wah Learning Commons is a technology-rich, common space where students, teachers, guests and visitors can come together to relax, interact or participate in the various kinds of learning and cultural activities that are regularly held there.This one-stop service will certainly boost student learning!
