Liberal Arts at Centennial College

alternative text

At Centennial College, our liberal arts education covers a two-year core curriculum (embracing liberal arts and sciences) and allows students to choose their majors at the end of the second year. Existing majors will be consolidated and reconstructed into the B.A. programme and a new B.Soc.Sc. programme to be accreditated. We maintain a small size of 800 to 1000 students, emphasising intra-curricular out-of-class activities, international exposure, seminar courses, reading and writing, trans-disciplinarity, interactions, and close teacher-student relationships. In addition to the small number of privately-rented off-campus accommodation provided by HKU, we have plans afoot for the provision of more places.

Higher Degrees

At Centennial College, research serves primarily to support teaching. The School of Management with a Research Centre will be activated for research and teaching. A distinctive post-graduate programme of Master of Liberal Arts in Business emphasising a multi-dimensional approach to business management will be developed.
